Steve Lucas (Hopi) Polychrome Vessel with Clay and Mineral Slip
Steve Lucas (Hopi) Polychrome Vessel with Clay and Mineral Slip
Price:
$2,900.00
Quantity:
Steve Lucas (Hopi) Polychrome Vessel
This vibrantly colored and styled vessel is 7 1/4" wide by 4 1/4" tall.
The opening is 2 1/2.
Made in 2001.
Steve Lucas signs with his name, a corn plant and the mudhead symbol. He
is the very accomplished great grandson of Annie Nampeyo. The sheen on
his pottery is achieved by polishing it with a stone (no slip or glaze is used
to give it this sheen).
Stunning piece of pottery for your Steve Lucas collection or to stand alone!
